Dr. James K. Aymond is a summa cum laude graduate
of
Louisiana State University where he earned his M.D. Degree.
He
completed his internship and residency at Duke University Medical
Center in Durham, North Carolina and an Adult Spine Fellowship at
Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee.
He is board certified by the American Board of
Orthopaedic Surgery and a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic
Surgery. He is a member of the Southern Medical Association,
Piedmont Orthopaedic Society, Vanderbilt Orthopaedic Society,
and the South Carolina Orthopaedic Society.
Dr. Aymond has resided and practiced orthopaedic
medicine in the Charleston area with his current partners since
1993. He balances his professional worktime with family,
boating,
and church activities.
